About

Dr. Madhab Chandra Tripathy is currently serving as Professor & Head, School of Electronic Sciences,  Odisha University of Technology and Research (Formerly College of Engineering & Technology), Bhubaneswar. He completed his Ph. D. from IIT Kharagpur in the Electrical Engineering Department in the year 2014 and M.Tech from IIEST, West Bengal, in Electronics and Communication Engineering. B.Tech. in 2001 and B.Tech from the College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar in 1996. He has 27 years of teaching experience in various leading technical Institutes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  He received the Armen H. Zemanin Best Paper Award in the area of circuits and systems in 2013 and three times the IEEE Best Paper Award in ICDCECE in 2022, SSITCON in 2024, and iCONNECT in 2025. He is a Life member of ISTE New Delhi, a member of IEEE, and a fellow of the Institute of Engineers.

He has published more than 45 research papers in various refereed International and Indian Journals and Conferences, and also guided 22 M.Tech students and three Ph.D. students. Five PhD students are now continuing their PhD work under his active guidance. His research interests include Fractional-Order Circuit Systems, Signal Processing, and Sensors and Instrumentation Systems
